50 Top Pizza is a prestigious international guide that ranks the world's best pizzerias. Founded in 2017 by Italian culinary experts Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro, and Albert Sapere, the guide aims to spotlight excellence in pizza-making across the globe.​

  • Barbara Guerra: A seasoned food critic and co-founder of the Le Strade della Mozzarella (LSDM) culinary congress.​

  • Luciano Pignataro: An esteemed journalist and wine expert with a deep passion for Italian gastronomy.​

  • Albert Sapere: A veteran sommelier and master cheese and oil taster, also a co-founder of LSDM.

Assessment Criteria​

  • Anonymous Inspections: A network of anonymous inspectors visits pizzerias worldwide to maintain objectivity.​
